Interior Designer, Aviation

At FSB Architects + Engineers, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, we design aviation environments that move people efficiently while creating a strong sense of place. Lead and contribute to interior design efforts for aviation projects through all phases of design and documentation.Develop design concepts, space plans, finish palettes, material selections, and furniture solutions aligned with client goals and project requirements.Translate design concepts into functional, durable environments that support passenger experience, airport operations, and long-term facility needs.Prepare and coordinate interior design drawings, specifications, details, schedules, and construction documents.Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and other disciplines to integrate interior design with building systems and overall project design.Participate in client meetings, presentations, design reviews, and coordination meetings.Research and select materials, finishes, furnishings, and products based on aesthetics, performance, maintenance, sustainability, and budget.Support construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFIs, site observations, and coordination of design-related issues.Provide guidance and mentorship to developing designers while contributing to a collaborative studio environment. This is a full-time position based in our Denver, CO office.Travel may be required for client meetings, airport and project site visits, construction observation, design coordination, and other project-related activities.
