Interior Designer - Cabinetry Specialist

In addition, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: • Collaborate on residential interior projects, managing homeowner needs from conceptual design to construction details • Ability to prepare and meet with homeowners independently while managing the budget + schedule of cabinetry design • Experience using 3D modeling software (SketchUP, ArchiCAD) • Ability to draft, design, detail, and modify project designs/plans while applying standard architectural techniques/procedures • Understanding of building design and systems and general construction processes • Practical experience working with Architectural drawing sets, elevations, cabinetry, finish selections and interior details • Ability to complete weekly deadlines, participate in the construction administration of projects • Strong listening, follow up and collaboration skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • A high level of motivation • Provide the project team specifications + finishes for cabinetry design and details needed for construction • Ability to thrive working in a fast-paced, open-concept office environment • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interiors or equivalent experience • 3-5+ years Interior Design experience (Kitchen + Bath cabinetry experience strongly preferred) • Be highly organized with an eye for detail and the ability to review submittals and finish samples We offer: • A competitive salary commensurate with experience • A comprehensive benefits package • Paid time off including paid holidays • An engaging (+ fun!)
