Interior Designer - Cabinet Specialist

Responsibilities • Provide initial cabinet design and layout • Work with designer for final cabinet design and quoting • Order cabinetry materials for all job sites in a timely manner • Work with cabinet manufacturers to establish lead times and stay up to date on training • Provide all receipts for purchases and enter in Credit Card form in Smartsheet software for accounting • Return damaged items and arrange replacement • Assist Design Team on multiple projects at varying stages of design • Attend site field measurements, surveying existing conditions • Assist in the development of presentation items, including: CAD Drawings, schedules, & selection cut sheets • Perform research and work with vendors in product selection & pricing • Develop and produce construction documents and detail sketches • Manage files & organize documentation Required Education/Experience • 2-5 years’ experience in cabinet management required • Associate degree or college degree preferred • Prior cabinetry program knowledge and experience is preferred • Cabinet design sofware knowledge is a plus • Prior kitchen and bathroom design experience highly preferred
