Role OverviewWe are seeking an entrepreneurial Interior Designer & Account Manager to lead in-home color consultations, architectural palette specifications, and client account management across the Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Zionsville, Greenwood, Martinsville, Bloomington, Bedford, and Columbus markets.

This role is built for independent interior designers, showroom veterans, and creative parents returning to the workforce who need full command over their schedule without sacrificing earning power ($45,000–$95,000+ annually).

Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-home color consultations with residential homeowners to select cohesive wall, trim, ceiling, and accent palettes.Evaluate natural lighting, architectural undertones, furnishings, and homeowner lifestyle goals to curate custom color specifications.Scope residential painting projects using our proprietary Brush OS estimating software (no manual takeoff calculations required).Build relationships with local homeowners, realtors, builders, and staging professionals to expand your regional design pipeline.Collaborate with vetted craftsman painting crews to ensure exact execution of your color and finish design vision.Qualifications & Requirements:Formal education or accredited credential in Interior Design, Color Theory, Architecture, or Home Staging (B.A., B.S., A.A., NCIDQ, or Design School Diploma).Demonstrated eye for architectural color, sheen selection, and undertones.Strong consultative communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for localized in-home consultations in Central Indiana.Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow your local book of design business.Compensation & Benefits:High project-based commission earnings: Estimated $45,000–$95,000+ annually based on project volume.Rapid compensation: Project commissions paid within 1–3 business days of customer project payment.Complete schedule autonomy: Set your own consultation hours around family and life commitments (10–30+ hrs/week).Hybrid flexibility: Conduct work from home, on the road, and inside client homes.Proprietary tech: Brush OS software handles all pricing algorithms, contracts, and crew scheduling.
