Gensler in Philadelphia is seeking an Interior Designer for a growing, diverse client base. What You Will Do • Collaborate on projects for workplaces, schools, universities, and healthcare spaces; including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development • Resolve complex technical and design issues • Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents • Participate in selection of furniture systems and specifications • Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives • Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination • Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction • Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs • Provide mentorship and guidance to teammates • Champion Gensler's inclusion goals with respect to teammates, partners, and consultants Your Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field from an accredited school • 5-9 years of related interior design experience post-graduation, with recent experience delivering Corporate Interiors, Healthcare, and/or Education projects • NCIDQ Certified (if you are on the path to certification, feel free to reach out to discuss another possible role: [email protected]) • Experience in working on all phases of the project from programming & test fits through design, documentation and construction.
