Interior Designer for High End Cabinetry Management

This role is ideal for an experienced designer or design-adjacent professional who loves being close to the work—bridging the gap between creative vision and real-world execution . What You’ll DoLead multiple high-end custom cabinetry and millwork projects from kickoff to closeoutAct as the primary liaison for interior designers, architects, clients, and general contractorsTranslate design intent into clear, executable plans while protecting the original visionDevelop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and scopesCollaborate closely with internal design, engineering, production, and installation teamsReview shop drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy, aesthetics, and constructabilityManage change orders, RFIs, and cost tracking with a detail-oriented approachFacilitate clear handoffs and project meetings across teamsProactively identify challenges and resolve issues before they impact timeline or qualityEnsure all deliverables meet Arbor & Ore’s high standards for craftsmanship, fit, and finishHelp refine internal project management processes and mentor junior PMsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong project management experience with a design-sensitive mindsetBackground in Interior Design, Architectural Design, or Construction Management (preferred)Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex, custom workClear, confident communicator comfortable working with creative and technical teamsAbility to balance aesthetics, budget, and schedule without compromising qualityExperience with high-end residential cabinetry, furniture, or millwork is a strong plusBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferredWhy Arbor & OreWork on distinctive, design-led residential projects you’ll be proud to put your name onCollaborate with talented designers, builders, and craftspeopleBe closely involved in the full lifecycle of custom work—from concept to installationLong-term growth opportunities within a growing, quality-focused companyCompetitive compensation based on experience
