Interior Designer I

The Opportunity RS&H is currently seeking an interior designer to join our team. As part of the Buildings team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by performing all aspects of predesign, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation tasks related to the interior design scope of a project; designing a complete project and preparing project documents, specifications, and reports; formulating and solving design challenges with timely and innovative solutions; conducting research to support proposed design solutions; preparing and presenting project documents, drawings, visual aids, and presentations; developing project specifications and discipline reports; and performing quality control reviews and field observations of ongoing construction projects. To be successful in this role, you must: • Have a bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture and NCIDQ certification or state registration (as applicable), and five years relevant experience. • Possess strong communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
