Interior Designer II

Ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and the number of years of experience in the field correlate directly to the salary for this position. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or another related field • Five or more years with experience in Commercial Interior Design (retail sales and residential design do not contribute to the years of experience required for this position). Other job requirements: • Excellent presentation skills, written skills and organization skills • Must have personal, dependable transportation to drive between client sites and project office • Ability to work effectively with all levels of company and client organizations, and with all personality types • Ability to conduct QA of candidate’s own work and junior teammates as applicable • This position requires professional demeanor and professional business attire • Physical requirements: bend, stretch, twist and reach for up to 8 hours at a time • Upon responding, please reference your most rewarding project • Strong ability to build long-lasting, effective relationships with clients and vendors • Travel is occasional but will be required within Upstate New York to administer project work • NCIDQ, USGBC LEED, and/or Well AP certifications desired but not required This is a salary position and pays according to the experience and qualifications of the applicant and ability to meet the job requirements noted.
