Interior Designer II

The Key Responsibilities & Duties • Own full design projects, including schedules, documentation, and outcomes • Lead client meetings and presentations in partnership with Sales • Develop space plans, renderings, finish selections, and full specifications • Coordinate with Procurement, Project Management, Installation, and Construction • Manage revisions, approvals, and change documentation • Maintain awareness of budgets, timelines, and project risk • Mentor Interior Designer I team members as appropriate • Uphold and model department standards and processes Success in This Role Looks Like • Strong client trust and autonomy • Consistent delivery with minimal oversight • Proactive problem-solving and communication • Ownership mentality and accountability What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (CIDA/FIDER preferred) • 3–8 years of relevant experience • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, and 20-20/SPEC • Advanced understanding of commercial interiors, furniture systems, and codes Why Coakley?
