Job Description We’re looking for an experienced Interior Designer who is ready to be an instrumental part of our team, supporting not just Carolinas, but other offices across our footprint throughout the southeast. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited four-year college or university • NCIDQ certification or equivalent required • 8+ years of interior design experience preferred • Demonstrated expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, and installation • Strong communication skills with the ability to be both persuasive and diplomatic (verbal and visual) • Proven ability to deliver consistent, high-quality client service • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality assurance • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Maintains a sense of urgency while working effectively under pressure • Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and reliability • Prior team leadership or management experience preferred • Effective communicator with internal teams and external clients • Strategic mindset with an understanding of the AEC industry and business development processes The GMC Architecture Practice is a community of knowledgeable planning and design professionals that operate with a collaborative, client-focused approach.
