To us, that means our design excellence is rooted in relationships. **Our Expectations**SECTION I: TECHNICAL COMPETENCY* Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents* 5+ years of design experience, architecture firm experience a plus* Knowledge of spatial planning, ergonomics, and interior furnishings and materials* Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, FGI Healthcare Guidelines, NFPA, IBC, ANSI 117.1, BOMA* Proficiency with graphics software such Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and/or other 3D imaging software preferred* Possession of a strong moral and ethical responsibility to the principles of sustainability* Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills* Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills* Understanding of the design and procurement processes* NCIDQ Certification preferred* LEED Accreditation is a plus* Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree from a CIDA-accredited interior design program or equivalent field of studySECTION II: TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION COMPETENCY* Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic* Ability to interact professionally with office leadership and clients* Ability to direct and motivate work efforts of others and handle stressful situations* Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversightSECTION III: LEADERSHIP* Be a good team member fostering a positive work culture* Develop strong relationships within the firm, with our clients and in our communities**A cover letter, resume and portfolio demonstrating Revit skills and rendering abilities are required.
