To us, that means our design excellence is rooted in relationships. **Our Expectations** SECTION I: TECHNICAL COMPETENCY • Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents • 5+ years of design experience, architecture firm experience a plus • Knowledge of spatial planning, ergonomics, and interior furnishings and materials • Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, FGI Healthcare Guidelines, NFPA, IBC, ANSI 117.1, BOMA • Proficiency with graphics software such Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and/or other 3D imaging software preferred • Possession of a strong moral and ethical responsibility to the principles of sustainability • Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills • Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills • Understanding of the design and procurement processes • NCIDQ Certification preferred • LEED Accreditation is a plus • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree from a CIDA-accredited interior design program or equivalent field of study SECTION II: TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION COMPETENCY • Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic • Ability to interact professionally with office leadership and clients • Ability to direct and motivate work efforts of others and handle stressful situations • Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversight SECTION III: LEADERSHIP • Be a good team member fostering a positive work culture • Develop strong relationships within the firm, with our clients and in our communities **A cover letter, resume and portfolio demonstrating Revit skills and rendering abilities are required.
