As an Interior Designer II your position entails leading the interior design effort of interior architecture on projects, including the development of client presentations and the production of construction documentation. A successful candidate will be someone who has a working knowledge of healthcare design and the specific challenges of the discipline; experience in managing and executing all phases of design; is self-directed, detail-oriented, and highly organized; thrives in a fast-paced environment; can work collaboratively with architects, engineers and project stakeholders to achieve project goals; and has a proven ability to mentor and foster junior staff. • Work with architecture and the engineering disciplines to ensure a consistent development of the project towards the design concepts established in earlier phases. • Develop project and furniture specifications and other technical requirements of projects. Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor of Fine Arts or Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture • Five years of experience with interior design, some of which is in a specialized area (i.e. healthcare, academics, science and technology, commercial, etc.)
