Interior Designer - II

At Turpentine Design, the Interior Designer II contributes significantly to maintaining design integrity, supporting project schedules, and ensuring that project deliverables meet the firm’s standards for quality, accuracy, and client experience. This role is best suited for a self-motivated, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a collaborative environment, values design excellence, and is eager to grow within a purpose-driven studio. This role is more than just a support position—it is a key contributor to Turpentine Design’s broader mission: to shape healthy, sustainable communities through thoughtful, client-centered architectural and interior design. REQUIREMENTS (the non-negotiables) • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited program • 4–6 years of professional interior design experience (preferably in commercial or mixed-use sectors) • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam • Demonstrated experience producing full drawing sets and finish/furniture specifications • Familiarity with applicable codes, accessibility standards, and best practices in commercial design • Strong communication and organizational skills; comfortable presenting to clients and managing consultant coordination • Working knowledge of sustainable design practices and interest in design research • Actively pursuing NCIDQ certification (or completed)
