**Overview:** Perkins Eastman, a global design firm, is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our team. This ideal candidate will work closely with other designers and architects to design, document, and execute projects from concept to installation. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for design, excellent communication and graphic presentation skills, and experience in hospitality, senior living, and/or multi-family design. **Responsibilities:** • Works with senior interior designers to envision concepts, project narratives, and graphics for concept presentations • Develops design concepts and materials for presentation and implementation • Assists team in space planning and furniture layouts • Creates FF&E budgets and matrices • Prepares and assembles FF&E packages, including specifications, bid packages, and sample requests • Prepares schedules relative to interior design, including finishes, decorative lighting, bath accessories, and plumbing fixtures • Participates in client meetings and presentations • Assists with construction administration, including responding to RFI's, preparing sketches, and visiting project sites • Reviews and approves shop drawings and samples with final approval by Senior Interior Designer and/or Project Manager • Responsible for meeting project deadlines and budget constraints • *Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in interior design or equivalent • Minimum of 5-8 years of related industry experience • NCIDQ certified or pursuing certification preferred • Has LEED accreditation or is willing to pursue it in the next 6 months • Hospitality, Senior Living, and/or Multi-Family experience preferred • Self-starter, passionate about design • Possesses interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Knowledge of building and ADA codes • Strong proficiency with computer-assisted design software, including Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, MS Office, and 3D software such as Sketchup • Strong communication, organization, time management, and graphic presentation skills • *Benefits:** • Robust medical, dental, and vision coverage • 401k options • Company-paid holidays • Life insurance • Pre-tax commuter benefits • Professional development opportunities • Competitive salary
