Interior Designer (In-Person, Connecticut)

Overview:** Havenly is seeking experienced Interior Designers to join our platform in Connecticut and surrounding areas. As a freelance Interior Designer, you'll work with local clients to design modern, custom spaces that exceed their expectations. Our platform provides access to technology, support services, and a vast network of vendors to help you focus on delivering exceptional results... **Responsibilities:** • Collaborate with residential clients in Connecticut to understand their design preferences, needs, and budget • Lead the design process, including development of a mood board, design concept, floor plan, and 3D rendering • Source furniture & decor on Havenly's platform and grow deep client relationships to drive repeat and referral business • Work with clients both virtually and in-person to deliver personalized design solutions • *Qualifications:** • Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program or university preferred • 3+ years of experience as an interior designer, with a strong track record of working with clients in-person and/or virtually • Industry-professional presence with confident, knowledgeable, and clear communication style • Tech-savviness, including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and comfort with learning new technologies • Proficiency in product knowledge across multiple vendors, categories, and price points • Access to reliable transportation, a computer with video conferencing capabilities, and current Photoshop license or Canva account • *Benefits:** • Competitive compensation package, including pay per project + commission + bonus • Access to Havenly's technology and support services to streamline your design process • Opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and projects • Flexibility to work as a freelance Interior Designer, with the ability to set your own schedule and workload • Potential for growth and development within the company
