Interior Designer (In-Person, Charlotte)

**Overview:** Havenly is seeking experienced Interior Designers to join our platform in Charlotte and surrounding areas. As a freelance Interior Designer with Havenly, you will have access to our technology and support services, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional design experiences to your clients. **Responsibilities:** • Collaborate with residential clients in Charlotte, NC through virtual and in-home meetings to understand their design preferences, needs, and budget • Lead the design process with clients, including development of a mood board, design concept, floor plan, and 3D rendering • Source furniture & decor on Havenly's platform, where clients can checkout for all vendor partners in one cart • Grow deep client relationships to drive repeat and referral business • *Qualifications:** • A degree in Interior Design from an accredited program or university is preferred • 3+ years of working as an interior designer and with your own clients in-person and/or virtually • Industry-professional presence with confident, knowledgeable, and clear communication style • Tech-savviness with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and ability to learn new technologies quickly • Proficiency in layering images and using Photoshop functionality such as the background remover • High degree of passion, drive, and knowledge to achieve the best possible creative results • Small business mindset with ability to drive projects forward and convert designs into sales • High level of product knowledge across many vendors, categories, and price points • Access to reliable transportation to and from client meetings, a computer with video conferencing capabilities, and current Photoshop license • *Benefits:** • Competitive pay per project + commission + bonus • Opportunity to work with clients in the Charlotte area • Access to Havenly's technology and support services • Freelance contract role with flexibility in scheduling • Commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive team
