Looking for full time interior designer, hours are somewhat flexible, in a fast paced positive creative design studio in the heart of the design district. High end clientele, room to be creative and room to grow. Mostly residential, work in and around Los Angeles as well as other states (travel required). Responsibilities include: Designing floorplans, designing custom furniture, shopping for fabrics, furniture, art, lighting etc, specification writing, measuring, drafting, creating proposals and design presentations, attending meetings to support principal designer, follow up on client needs and requests, meeting with trades and overseeing progress on job sites, interacting with clients, general administration such as answering phones, keeping track of scheduled meetings, keeping track of orders, logistics, filing, data entry, creating client presentations. Must be professional, presentable, polite, energetic and flexible.
