Interior Designer, Intermediate

As an Interior Designer at DLR Group you will be working as part of integrated design teams responsible for the design and delivery processes aligned with client goals, budgets and schedule parameters. • Have a strong foundation of comprehensive design and technical skillsets including creative design and drawing skills, graphic and oral design presentation skills, capacity for conceptual design thinking, and 3D design/modeling ability • Possess a holistic design acumen that addresses the 3-dimensional space; from functionality, alignment with programmatic needs and how materials, volumes and the performance of the space all comes together • Be responsible for applying DLR Group practice standards to project deliverables across the project team. • Effectively communicates with project team members through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual means • Prepare and develop with the team, as required, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design • Take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Principal in Charge and/or the Design Leader for key project stages • Have strong client and time management skills • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills • Meets deliverable deadlines to maintain overall project schedule.
