Interior Designer, Intermediate

Design the future with us as our next Intermediate Interior Designer. This position is offered in the following cities: • Los Angeles, CA Position Summary • Have a strong foundation of comprehensive design and technical skillsets including creative design and drawing skills, graphic and oral design presentation skills, capacity for conceptual design thinking, and 3D design/modeling ability • Possess a holistic design acumen that addresses the 3-dimensional space; from functionality, alignment with programmatic needs and how materials, volumes and the performance of the space all comes together • Be responsible for applying DLR Group practice standards to project deliverables across the project team. • Effectively communicates with project team members through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual means • Prepare and develop with the team, as required, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design • Take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Principal in Charge and/or the Design Leader for key project stages • Have strong client and time management skills • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills • Meets deliverable deadlines to maintain overall project schedule.
