ResponsibilitiesWork in tandem with the Principal and Senior Designers to develop plans and interior design concepts Work with the Principal to source and select finishes, fixtures, lighting, hardware & accessories.Act as liaison with clients, contractors, and vendors regarding the technical aspects of the projectCoordinate and produce construction and design documents.Review and detail shop drawings for construction plans.Manage and review schedules, construction details, and project deliverables.Ensures regular reviews at key design stages with the Principal DesignerTravels to the job site, design center, and showrooms as needed.Prepare presentation materials.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design / Architecture3+ years of experience in a residential design settingA solid competency in the technical aspects of constructionStrong experience in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, and InDesignKnowledge of design process - FF&E, specifications, finish, and material selectionsKnowledge of local and online showrooms, resources, and industry trendsComfortable and confident communicating with vendors, subcontractors and clientsContribute to a small studio environment with flexibility, problem-solving and good judgment.
