The company is a leading design-builder for high-performing learning and working environments, including solar, water, and smart city infrastructure improvements for cities and towns.POSITION PURPOSEThe Interior Designer is responsible for managing and actively participating in the production efforts on public and private architectural projects. Displays time management during completion of tasks and responsibilities.Time Management – able to prioritize multiple deadlines and commitments, consistently meeting deadlines.Decision-Making -- Big picture, strategic decisions, well thought out and analyzed.WORKING CONDITIONSOffice functions will primarily be performed at PSI’s business office in Indianapolis, IN.Site visits and off-site coordination, and presentation meetings will be held at the project site.Additional hours may be required prior to project deadlines or in the evenings for school board presentations, meetings, and overnight travel may also be required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation/ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or ArchitectureMinimum of five years of commercial interior design experience, with a preference for K-12 background.Proficiency in REVIT- Minimum of 4 years with REVIT.Experience in successfully managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.Strong Knowledge of materials, finishes, and building codes.Microsoft Office, Enscape, AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup and other visualization software a plusPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
