Position Description

We are seeking a high-level Interior Designer Level I or II (Interior Design Team Member) candidate for our Austin, Texas office! Responsibilities include support of project teams and completion of project tasks needed for successful project delivery. Candidates will need to possess a combination of technical skills including an understanding of regulations, operations, and knowledge of constructability. Effective communication skills are also needed to work with a team of diverse professionals. The successful candidate takes the initiative, demonstrates flexibility and accountability, completes deadlines on schedule, and is self-directed.

Basic Skills & Responsibilities

Experience in Project Management, including renovation projectsAbility to create and present professional presentationsLead projects directly with clientsProficient in creating and executing concepts through finishesExperience in interior architecture and lightingCapable of taking a project through design and construction integrating interior design and architecture, detailing, finishes, furnishings, document coordination, and reviewProduct research, FF&A budgeting, purchasing, and installation coordination experienceUnderstanding of building and life safety codesMotivated, proactive, teamwork oriented, and flexibleProblem solving and critical thinking skillsProject travel is requiredBachelor’s degree in Interior Design is requiredMinimum 4-8 years of experience in an Interior Design or Architectural firmProficiency in BIM softwareExperience in Senior Living, Multi- Family, or Student HousingMust be legally authorized to work for an employer in the United States
