GLT is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to become a part of our team! The candidate will assist in requirements gathering, space planning, furniture and finishes of the interiors of commercial buildings. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture. Qualifications and Education Requirements: • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Interior Design or Architecture or Fine Arts required • (10) years of experience in commercial interior design furnishings, finishes, fixtures and equipment in various stages, from conception to completion required • Preferred NCIDQ Certification • Preferred LEED Certified • Proficient in AutoCad • Furniture experience is a must • Experience with Photoshop, Sketh-Up, Adobe Suite, Revit, Microsoft Suite or other design software • Significant Exposure to various standards and practices applied in the design field • Experience in working on projects in various stages, from conception to completion • Deadline and detail-oriented • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience leading a project team • Experience communicating with client, PM and vendors • Government experience • Overseeing 20 plus projects • Developing tracking processes • Training new hires • Implementing new processes and standards • Presenting and conveying designers to end users • Ability to travel regionally (out of town) a few times a year.
