Position Requirements: • Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in residential interior design or interior architecture • Minimum of 3 years working as an interior designer in the remodeling/construction industry, with experience creating and assembling construction documents (blueprint drawings and specifications for construction), and strong background and knowledge-base in kitchen and bathroom design and space planning, plus designing for whole-house spaces. • Must have strong knowledge of residential design styles, history of design, and feel confident in your natural design "instinct" and abilities is a must for the success of your career with this Company. • After an understanding of our company standards and process, candidate will transition to having design projects independently based on demonstrated skills and motivation. • On-site meetings with clients, contractors, and suppliers, site- measurements, AutoCAD drafting to include space planning, electrical plans, interior elevations, sections and details, construction document preparation, hard-surface material & fixture selections, specifications, visiting showrooms and jobsites, etc. • Perform other duties as needed We are looking to grow our company with dedicated individuals who shine with natural talent in interior architecture and design.
