Interior Designer- Part-Time

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team in North Colorado Springs. The designer will generate ideas and create 3D images to portray design concepts, as well as create and present interior design concepts that respond to client needs and adhere to code requirements. Additionally, the designer will work closely with clients to define project requirements, develop design criteria, and attend planning and construction meetings. The position also requires the creation of estimates, scheduling, and coordination with trades to ensure project completion. Responsibilities • Perform site measures at client's homes , • Produce CAD drawings efficiently and accurately , • Provide pre-construction services, construction documents/packets for bid and construction , • Maintain showroom displays and perform miscellaneous showroom duties , • Support Stewart designers to ensure success and client satisfaction , • Design to client's budget and meet individual design prospect schedule goals , • Provide communication link with clients, project managers, trades, and internal design team , • Generate ideas and 3D images to portray design concepts , • Create and present interior design concepts in response to client needs and code requirements , • Work with clients to define project requirements and develop design criteria , • Attend planning and construction meetings with clients , • Create estimates, schedule, and coordinate with trades to complete projects , • Create purchase orders, price finish materials, and order products upon signing construction contract , • Stay up to date with new products, trends, and tools , • Visit prospective clients' homes as a member of a sales team
