Interior Designer & Preconstruction Coordinator

Connor Design-Build is seeking a Harrisburg-based Interior Designer & Preconstruction Coordinator to join our boutique, design-driven team. Who We Are Architectural Interior Design & Client Consultation (60%) • Lead initial and ongoing client consultations (in-showroom and some in-home) • Educate clients on materials, products, and design approaches • Develop project scope, specifications, and detailed quotes (using assistive software) • Produce construction drawings and renderings (Chief Architect and/or AutoCAD/Revit) • Participate in collaborative team design sessions • Guide materials and finish selections with a consultative, comparison-based approach • Prepare and present design concepts, scope of work, and contracts • Support showroom merchandising and display updates Our ideal candidate is: • A critical thinker and natural problem-solver • Detail-oriented and highly organized • Passionate about fine materials and best building practices • Confident managing multiple project phases simultaneously • Comfortable working independently within a small, collaborative team • Motivated by continued education and professional growth • Tech-savvy and confident with digital tools and social platforms • Energized by an entrepreneurial environment where initiative is valued
