Interior Designer / Project Manager

Junior Designer - Entry Level Position The Junior Designer will work closely with Sales Representatives and Lead Designers to develop the technical, creative, and professional skills necessary for advancement within the organization. Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field; or Minimum of 2 years of relevant design experience such as kitchen or bath design, drafting, space planning, etc.Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or CET.Basic rendering and presentation skills.Willingness to learn commercial furniture specification and workplace design.Interest in pursuing professional development and continuing education. Learn the furniture lines represented by the company, with an initial focus on Gen2 products.Develop a strong understanding of furniture styles, applications, and workplace trends.Gain knowledge of finishes, materials, fabrics, and accessories.Learn furniture specification using manufacturer price lists and specification tools.Build understanding of workplace ergonomics and ADA requirements.Space planning, fit plans, and furniture layouts.Support design development through concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and finish selections.Help select materials, finishes, fabrics, and accessories that align with project goals.Create basic renderings and presentation materials.Participate in site assessments, field measurements, and project documentation.Assist Sales Representatives and Lead Designers during client meetings.Learn professional client engagement and communication skills.Assist in gathering information regarding client needs, goals, style preferences, and budgets.Participate in project discussions and presentations.Present concepts, finishes, and recommendations under supervision.Administrative & Operational Support: Order, organize, and maintain design samples, finish libraries, brochures, and marketing materials.Assist with project documentation and specification accuracy.Attend networking events, training sessions, and industry functions.Marketing materials such as social media content, photography and design-related content.
