Interior Designer & Project Manager

This position will be working directly with the Principal of the studio, assisting in design development, and being responsible for managing projects from the conceptual and presentation stage through the completion of final installation. - Must hold a degree or certification in Interior Design - 3-4 years of professional experience in another design studio/firm is a must - Must be able to demonstrate strong capabilities in handling and overseeing a project from concept through final installation, and be experienced with all phases of the Interior Design process - Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under deadlines - Ability to read and understand construction documents and drawings - Excellent conceptual design and space planning skills - Proficient in construction drawings, materials, furniture, finish selections and specifications, with extensive product and vendor knowledge - Experience with and knowledge of Federal, California state, and local building codes and standards (including ADA) - Proficient in AutoCAD and hand drawing (1 year minimum, 2+ years preferred) - Adobe Photoshop, Sketch-up, and 3D rendering experience a plus - Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint - Knowledge of Studio Designer/Webware software is a big plus - Must be extremely professional, reliable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic. - Self-motivated and strong time management skills to successfully work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment - Extremely organized with high attention to detail, methodical, and passionate about achieving excellence in your work - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Must have well-developed delegation skills - An easy communication style to work confidently with design staff and clientele - Clear speaking voice with a mature, pleasant and professional presence and demeanor - Must have a valid Driver’s License, insurance, and reliable vehicle This is an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional Interior Designer & Project Manager who wants a stable, full-time and long-term position, with a growing studio and brand.
