We are seeking an Interior Designer with experience in older home renovations to become a part of our team! You will plan and design basements, attics, kitchens, bathrooms, and whole house remodeling projects as well as porches and decks. We specialize in older homes built between 1900 and 1950. Responsibilities: • Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive and present them to the client • Draft remodeling projects using Chief Architect software • Prepare projects with attention to detail to handoff to production • Select design components to create a unique and purposeful space • Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships • Prepare sketches and documentation for client presentation Qualifications: • Five plus years of experience in interior design in a residential remodeling environment • Familiarity with Chief Architect • Deadline and detail-oriented • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to listen to the client and design according to their needs • Detailed and organized professional with good communication skills • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Architecture, Sustainable Design, Interior Design or related field. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team • Proficient in Chief Architect • Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle Salary is based on experience with size and scope of completed projects and well as level of education.
