Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Lead the new construction design selections process for making detailed choices related to, style, finish, and color of all selections for a portfolio of clients. • Coordinate with clients to schedule selection meetings to receive timely client approval on selection items. • Ensure subcontractors have received appropriate selections and direction to ensure smooth construction execution with Superintendent • Communicate directly with subcontractors to receive quotes/samples/drawings and serve as liaison between clients and vendors until client is satisfied with the selections and prices; must also resolve incorrect selection quotes, photos, or details. • Price and prepare Change Orders as required in coordination with Superintendent • Monitor and collect earnest money as needed per contracts. Qualified candidates must possess the following requirements and characteristics: • Bachelor’s Degree in interior design, construction management, or related field • A minimum of 4 years of related work experience, preferably in homebuilding or client facing role • Personality and ability to work well with others for interaction with a variety of people inside and outside of the organization • Design background with drafting experience preferred.
