Interior Designer / Senior Interior Designer

We are Studio T-Square. Our small but growing, interior design studio which focuses on providing services to local commercial building owners, creating tenant improvements, and building upgrades, health clinics and adaptive re-use projects. We are looking for talented interior designers to join our growing team: Senior Interior Designer: (10+ years of experience) • Local experience in the design of sophisticated, high-end architectural and interior solutions • Lead the design effort to develop 3D Sketch-up model and Revit/AutoCAD drawings for complex design projects with follow through to Design Development and Construction Document phases using REVIT/AutoCAD • Previous experience in hospitality, commercial tenant improvements or healthcare/mixed use projects • Thorough knowledge of successful interior finish and color combinations • Ability to communicate design ideas verbally and graphically with freehand sketches and digital presentations • Adept at communication with client and consultant teams • Team player who is willing to provide leadership and guidance to junior designers • Ability to quickly understand and respond to project challenges, and to conceptualize and graphically communicate solutions. Hand-sketching ability is a plus •Established track-record of creative collaboration with multi- disciplinary teams, from concept through presentation •Strong leadership, management, and mentoring skills, and/or the desire to develop those skills • Complete Understanding of the California Building Code, Accessibility requirements, and construction methods for tenant improvements •Knowledge and passion for working on a variety of projects concurrently Interior Designer: (3-5 years’ experience) • Local experience in preparation of construction documents and coordination of consultant teams.
