Interior Designer - Workplace Corporate Interiors - Client Side

Blue chip, Fortune 100 Global Investment firm is seeking an Interior Designer to join their global real estate team. Collaborative environment with well- defined advancement opportunities, specializing in corporate/commercial workplace projects. High visibility role helping define what the "new" workplace will look like across a global portfolio. Responsibilities: \\- Assist the SVP and AVP of Design & Construction in the execution of workplace projects \\- Prepare documentation for space plans, design presentations and furniture packages \\- Organize research for products and materials related to projects \\- Establishing and maintaining the materials library \\- Assist with the processing of construction administration documents Requirements: \\- 3+ years working in Interior Design \\- Proficiency in CAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Sketchup \\- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office \\- Ability to present test fits and FF&E; options to various high level stakeholders in the firm \\- Good working knowledge of furniture systems, ADA compliance and overall best practices in relation to office space design \\- Confident in preparing and laying out presentation packages as well as finish palettes \\- Strong written and verbal communication skills \\- Ability to extensively follow up with various vendors and consultants on projects \\- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks within the design process, with comprehensive follow-through to completion
