Interior Designer/Associate Designer - Multifamily

TVS is looking for a talented and experienced interior designer with multifamily experience to join our multifamily interiors studio in Atlanta, GA. • *Responsibilities** • Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designs • Work collaboratively with other team members as to best approach • Able to write FF&E specifications • Increase required technical and functional skills in related technologies, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Spexx and other 3D modeling and rendering programs • Lead small team on a task-by-task basis • Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm • Build and maintain a network of connections and resources within the industry; attend events central to the firms strengths and goals • Any other duties as assigned • *Qualifications** • A degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited college or university • 5+ years of experience in a professional environment • 5+ years of experience in multifamily design is preferred • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape, 3D modeling and rendering programs • Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentation • Experience in all conventional aspects of interior design • Experience in all phases and aspects of a project is desirable • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Able to work in a collaborative, professional manner • Able to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learn • Able to work independently with little supervision • Must be a NCIDQ certified interior designer or be on track to becoming a certified interior designer • Optional ASID and IIDA accreditations All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit and business need.
