As an Interior Designer, the incumbent is assigned multiple complex and frequently urgent design projects undertaken by the Capital Improvement Team in Facility Support Service. Undergraduate and Graduate Education in interior design or a field that includes at least 30 semester hours in interior design, interior architecture, or interior environmental design; or successful passage of the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) examination. Experience includes paid and unpaid work; volunteer experience will be credited as applicable. • Perform and manage work related to the design of interior environments to promote employee productivity, health, welfare of the public. • Manage an interior design file system with drawings, specifications, budgets, project information, government contracts, requests for services, and regulations related to interior design.
