Interior Designer/Construction Project Manager

Oversees and drives design direction for architecture, interior design, lighting, furniture, and artwork • Estimate construction costs, produce written summaries of project scopes along with plan details, and develop capital budgets for each project and present recommendations to senior management for approval • Manage the bidding, selection and contracting of general contractors • Lead various due diligence inspections to assess existing interior property conditions, attend progress meetings with the architect and general contractors, and make additional site visits to ensure that the projects meet the design and investment objectives • Recommend, write, and implement policy and procedure improvements to standardize best practices and resources across the department. • Produce design and construction documents for small projects and delegate project execution to other team members as needed • Perform other duties and projects as assigned • Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy • *Minimum Requirements** • Bachelors degree in architecture, interior design or related field and a minimum of two years of relevant experience focused on interiors and architectural projects • NCARB or NCIDQ certified • *Preferred Requirements** • 7+ years of design and project management experience • Experience in corporate, retail and financial institutions • Experience managing project financial budgets and scheduling milestones related to project management for large scale concurrent projects • Working knowledge of CAD, Revit, and Bluebeam software • *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** • Proven ability to take projects from concept to execution • Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines • Outstanding interpersonal and advanced corporate communication skills • Knowledge of building design and construction processes including budgeting and scheduling management, design, contracts, technical issues, codes, construction documentation and construction administration.
