Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional requirements for kitchen and bathroom renovations.
Develop detailed design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, lighting, and material selections, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Create comprehensive construction detail documentation and drafting using 3D software such as Pro Kitchen to facilitate accurate project execution.
Produce high-quality 3D models and renderings to visualize design ideas effectively.
Manage entire design projects from initial concept through installation, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contractor coordination.
Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs comply with local regulations and building standards for safety and functionality.
Prepare presentation materials for client meetings using graphic design software to clearly communicate design intent.
Oversee renovation projects by managing construction detail documentation, site visits, and quality control to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the process.
Engage in client communication throughout the project lifecycle to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction with the final outcome.

Skills

Proficiency in Pro-Kitchen design software for drafting, modeling, rendering, and presentations.
Strong knowledge of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design (including lighting sales), space planning, and material selection.
Experience managing residential interior design projects with a focus on kitchens and bathrooms from concept through installation.
Ability to produce detailed construction documentation and building information modeling (BIM) for seamless project execution.
Skilled in building code analysis to ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
Excellent client communication skills to understand needs clearly and present ideas convincingly.
Demonstrated project management capabilities including budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and contract management.
Knowledge of renovation processes and remodeling best practices to deliver innovative yet practical solutions.
