INTERIOR DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER

We are a boutique Residential Interior Design firm specializing in high-end Residential, Commercial, Marine & Aviary design. Work at our firm offers the opportunity to practice Interior Design at the highest level and grow within the field. The Interior Designer/ Project Manager will work directly with the Principal and Design Team to manage projects through all phases. • Collaborate and initiate ideas with the team in the design process, including schematic design, design development, sourcing FF&E and material selection. • College-level degree required (Interior Design, architecture or related field) • 5 - 7 years experience in residential interior design • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Experience required in sourcing and documenting FF&E design and/or selection & documentation of interior architectural finishes • Have a strong understanding of construction, materials and methods • Experience with Job site supervision required • Proficiency in AutoCAD and hand sketching required • Experience in Sketch Up, Illustrator and Photoshop • Must be productive, flexible, and team-oriented • Detail oriented and thorough • Must meet deadlines and ensure accuracy of all work produced • Must be willing to take initiative and ownership of all tasks on projects • Demonstration of three-dimensional design and planning skill • Client interfacing skills and acumen
