Interior Designer/Project Manager

We are a small boutique firm with projects nationwide. Our current projects are on The Big Island of Hawaii, San Francisco and The Peninsula. Our main focus is to create unique, timeless, high-quality interiors for both new construction and remodels that bring joy, comfort and wellbeing to our clients.

We believe deeply in collaboration, nurturing creativity and attention to detail. We have moved to a in-person/remote hybrid model to support this.

PART-TIME INTERIOR DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal

candidate will have exceptional organizational, project management and advanced AutoCAD skills

and is comfortable juggling multiple projects and enjoys contributing to all aspects of the process

from sourcing, custom furniture fabrication, presentations, materials schedules, through

installation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage projects from concept to completion

• Execute objectives and vision guided by Principal Designer for each project

• Source, quote and present schemes for coordination

• Assist in all client-related tasks:

Preparation of mood boards, floor plans, elevations, design presentations, renderings,

finish schedules, custom furniture design, FF&E documents, expedite and follow up on

orders at fabricators, artisans and contractors, manage project coordination through all

phases, including schedules, documenting scope, outline, create timeline through

completion

• Review all project and in-house documentation to ensure they meet project and client goals,

requirements and EWD standards

• Work will be a combination of remote and in-person in our Sausalito Studio

SKILLS

• Highly organized and detail oriented

• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience working with a high-end interiors or architectural firm

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Flexible, easy-going, can-do attitude

• Able to manage multiple projects, timelines and deadlines

• Works well with a team and independently

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign (mainly InDesign and Photoshop), Microsoft Office and proficiency in Studio Designer and Sketch Up

• Knowledge of:

- Current California Codes and Regulations

- Current interior design practices and standards
