Interior Designer/Selections Coordinator

AVAILABLE POSITION: Interior Designer/Selections Coordinator High end design- build construction company seeks experienced interior designer to manage the company owned showroom/selection center and assist in design of remodeling projects. Responsibilities: •• Coordinate with contractor for company sold construction projects • Prepare, review and revise drawings for client presentations • Prepare documents for client sign off’s and construction • Advise clients on products and design related to function, color schemes and color coordination • Use your design & technical skills to assist customers to make decisions • Supervise the construction team to carry out client’s design wishes • Drive sales to meet and exceed monthly sales goals • Develop repeat sales, new relationships and future business • Perform in-field tasks necessary to complete the design details (field measurements, photos, etc.) • Expand product knowledge and develop sales skills • Promptly handle walk-¬ins, scheduled appointments and sales calls • Process sales and purchase orders • Interface with vendors to resolve product issues • Provide exceptional customer service both during the sales process and follow up after installation • Network within professional organizations by attending meetings and events • Effectively present information and respond to questions from clients REQUIREMENTS: • Full time or part time • Highly motivated • Energetic • Self‐starter • Client service oriented • Goal achievement driven • Have worked for a kitchen & bathroom company or related field • Experience in the interior or architectural design industry • Ability to apply math skills to calculate discounts, proportions, percentages, dimensions • Ability to define problems and determine solutions • Ability to interpret technical information in diagram form • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Internet software and design software (AutoCAD) • Ability to handle several projects at a time • Able to hand draw sketches in front of client • Excellent communication skills • Must be extremely organized • Degree in Architecture/Interior Design preferred • Positive attitude • High energy Compensation: Salary + Commission
