Interior Designer/Workplace Consultant

This position plays a key role in design, sales and project management by helping clients create effective, functional, and inspiring workspaces. Responsibilities • Present design capabilities overviews to customers • Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative workspace solutions • Deliver responsive, cost-effective recommendations for furniture, architectural products, and related services • Manage and grow relationships with customers by providing expert guidance and exceptional service • Prepare design proposals and present concepts / solutions to customers • Attend site-visits, measure spaces, and draft building shells • Inventory existing furniture, document condition and determine usability • Develop space plans and design work areas to meet customer needs • Prepare budget estimates, detailed specifications and price quotes in CET Configura • Select appropriate product and interior colors and finishes • Conduct effective presentations of Lincoln Office capabilities and all necessary documentation • Prepare accurate installation drawings in a timely manner • Effectively apply product & process knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction • Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline • Prospect and grow Lincoln Office business through opportunities within assigned territory • Perform estimate and quote duties for projects and assigned opportunities • Process assigned opportunity orders according to the order fulfillment process • Follow all personnel policies and procedures • Adhere to company/customer safety procedures • Participate in continuous process improvement Additional Notes • Reports to Director of Sales with significant input from the Director of Design • Hybrid role based in Peoria, IL which currently allows flexibility for working from home with the expectation of averaging 3 in-office days per week.
