Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences, translating them into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. This role requires excellent project management skills, as you will oversee the design process from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for interior spaces.
Develop design concepts and present them to clients using sketches, mood boards, and digital renderings.
Create detailed plans and specifications for interior spaces, including layouts, color schemes, furniture selection, and materials.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in the remodeling process.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Proficiency in REVIT (24,25,26), AutoDesk software is REQUIRED
Experience in mechanical design and drafting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Rhino for 3D modeling is a plus.
Strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
Degree in Architecture preferred.
Proficient in interior design principles with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Strong budgeting skills to manage project costs effectively.
Experience in remodeling projects with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent project management abilities to oversee all phases of design implementation.
Knowledge of lighting sales and the ability to incorporate effective lighting solutions into designs.
Duties
MUST HAVE REVIT experience. Ideal candidate would have 2-5 years experience. Pay rates based on experience.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical requirements.
3D modeling and visualization of design concepts.
Maintain organized documentation of all design processes and revisions.
