Interior Functional Designer

Interior Functional Designer This is an immediate job opening for the position of Interior Functional Designer of Infrastructure Architects, Incorporated to perform the following job duties: Conduct site visitation and client interviews to gather information about the project scope, budget, timeline, and design expectations, and to understand clients' requirements, preferences, and objectives of the interior space. Considering factors such as traffic flow, circulation patterns, zoning regulations, accessibility requirements, and ergonomic considerations to create efficient and user-friendly interior environments, to develop spatial layouts and floor plans that optimize the use of available space while meeting the functional needs of occupants. Conceptualize design ideas and develop creative concepts that reflect the client's vision, brand identity and design goals, create mood boards, sketches, renderings, 3D models to communicate design concepts and present design proposals to clients for review and approval. Create CAD designs and detailed briefs for supervisors, contractors and workers in compliance with California Building Code. Research and evaluate materials for durability, sustainability, aesthetics, and compatibility with the overall design scheme, and select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that align with the design concept, budget, and performance requirements of the project.
