Davis Home Trends has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales & Design Consultant. The primary objective for a Sales & Design Consultant is to sell luxury window coverings, custom furniture, and custom bedding. In this position, you will conduct in-store and in-home design consultations. Brands we carry: • Hunter Douglas Window Coverings • Eastern Accents Bedding • Simply Amish Furniture • Whittier Wood Furniture • Chattam & Wells Mattresses • Ergo Motion Adjustable Base • Malouf Bedding Skills, Qualifications, & Job Duties The ideal candidate must have sales experience and should have the following: • EXCELLENT customer service skills • Experience quoting and closing sales orders • Ability to sell and consult in client’s homes • Retail sales experience • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Good verbal and written communication skills • Merchandising and store design • Interior design experience and/or passion • Team player (multiple departments = all hands on deck) • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as quoting programs • Clean CDL – Daily driving of company vehicles required About Davis Home Trends Davis Home Trends began in 1968 as a small paint and wallpaper store in downtown Davis.
