Interiors - Interior Design Professional

HOK's New York office is seeking Interior Design Professionals to join our growing Interiors practice. This individual will perform basic interior design assignments receiving specific and detailed instruction as to tasks required and results expected. This individual will be responsible for working with the project team to assist overall effort of completing various project phases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Modifies and prepares production drawings during design development phase.

Corrects and updates design documents.

Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.

Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.

May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.

Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.

Builds models for client/project team review.

Compiles data and performs elementary design computations.

Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.

Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Requires a Bachelor's degree in in architecture, interior design or foreign equivalent.

0 to 3 years' experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required.

LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

OTHER

Some overtime may be required.

Some travel may be required.
