Intermediate Designer

We are presently searching for an Intermediate Designer for our Sacramento Studio. The Intermediate Designer, while working with Junior Designer and under the supervision of a more senior Designer or Project Manager, the Intermediate Designer provides design support primarily in project administration, design development and contract documents.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Space Planning & test fitsAssists senior designers in selecting fixtures and finishesAt direction of senior designers, may provide suggested details for interior design projectsResearches and collects details for furniture and finish cost estimatesDevelops preliminary plans
Qualifications:

Graduate of architecture or design school: equivalent experience may be substituted3+ years’ experience in corporate interior design projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Working knowledge of the range of design principles and aestheticsFamiliarity with space planning methodologyFamiliarity with furnishings and finishesIntermediate sketching and rendering skillsAdvanced Revit skillsAdvanced Adobe Creative Suite skills

Salary Range: $68,000 - $78,000 annually, based on education, licensing, and relevant industry experience
