Intermediate Designer

Award winning Hospitality, Multi-Family, Model Home design firm located in Orange County is accepting applications for a full time Intermediate Designer. Documents will include furniture plans, furnishing drawings, specifications, control samples, details, etc. • Lead interior design assignments while selecting and sourcing products that maintain the company vision and concept • Assist project leaders with interior elevations for interior packages • Organizing presentations to both clients and consultants • Proactively stepping in to support your teammates. • We are all required to wear multiple hats, not just for the design team but for the company as whole and contribute to our overall culture. • Support the Project Manager to undertake design project from concept to completion • Assist PM designers with a wide variety of daily tasks • Assist PM by making InDesign presentations • Assist PM with product finish specifications • Research and decide on materials and products sourcing • Set costs according to budget • Proven working experience in designing interior spaces; 1-3years • Experience with furniture selection, accessories, fabric, paint, lighting, and working knowledge of architectural plans • Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, InDesign, and Excel • Familiarity with vendors and design centers are a bonus • Excellent portfolio of previous works • Creative talent, imagination and eye for design • Must be able to multi-task efficiently • Communication and presentation skills • Project management skills • Degree in Interior Design or similar • This position requires frequent traveling for project installations.
