Intermediate Designer - Architecture & Interior Design

Full-timeType K—DA is seeking an intermediate designer to join our boutique architecture and interior design studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn. What You'll Do As part of our collaborative team, you'll work on multiple projects simultaneously, contributing to: • Schematic design development and conceptual presentations • 3D modeling and rendering for client presentations • Design development packages and material specifications • Finish and fixture selections • Construction document preparation and filing • Furniture curation and procurement • Project coordination and client communication • Construction administration and site visits Qualifications • 1-3 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design • Professional degree in architecture or interior design (or equivalent experience) • Hands-on experience with construction documentation • Genuine passion for interior design and material exploration • Strong design sensibility and meticulous attention to detail • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Experience with Vectorworks and Lumion preferred but not required • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available) K—DA is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all team members.
