Our client is seeking a talented Intermediate Interior Designer to join a collaborative and design-driven studio in San Francisco. This role is ideal for a creative and technically skilled designer with a strong background in workplace interiors, space planning, and project delivery across all phases of design. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating thoughtful, high-performance environments that support client culture, brand, and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Design and document innovative, high-performance interiors from concept through construction.
Develop space plans, schematic designs, FF&E concepts, material palettes, mood boards, renderings, and detailed documentation.
Collaborate closely with project teams, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Translate client strategy, culture, and brand into compelling interior environments.
Communicate design ideas and project vision through Revit, renderings, presentations, and visual storytelling tools.
Participate in design development, construction documentation, and construction administration phases.
Support project budgets, material selection, value engineering efforts, and sustainability objectives.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.

Skills & Experience

5-10+ years of professional experience in Interior Design or Architecture.
Professional degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
Experience working on medium to large-scale workplace and commercial interior projects.
Strong workplace planning and space planning expertise.
Advanced proficiency in Revit required.
Experience with visualization and rendering software such as Enscape, Lumion, or Rhino.
Strong knowledge of furniture systems, interior finishes, workplace standards, and construction documentation.
Demonstrated experience across all phases of interior architecture and design projects.
Creative problem solver with exceptional communication, collaboration, presentation, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with sustainable design frameworks including LEED, WELL, and Fitwel.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam preferred.
