Intermediate Interior Designer

Stephens Design Group is an established, full-service New York City based high-end residential interior design firm led by Bradley Stephens. With current projects in the Hamptons, Aspen, South Florida, and Portugal, there’s never been a more exciting time to join our growing team! We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer who shares our passion for design and has the skills and drive to grow within our organization. Applicants should be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starters who are flexible to work on a variety of projects under the mentorship of the firm’s Senior Staff. Responsibilities: • AutoCAD drafting of furniture plans, elevations, and other drawings; • Working with design team to develop design concepts; • Sourcing furniture, fixtures and finishes; • Preparing presentation drawings / renderings; • Field surveying existing site conditions and existing furnishings inventory; • Attending project meetings and providing documentation support; • Assisting with project installations; • Gathering quotes and preparing furnishings proposals for client approval; • Tracking furnishings deliveries; • Tracking project related tasks and strictly adhering to project deadlines and budgets; • Corresponding with architects, contractors and subcontractors;
